Comments
Comments: First hike of the day. A nice hike with a colleague and hiking friend before work in the evening. An attractive loop but the trail signs were confusing which makes redlining difficult. Gaia was helpful. Snowshoes needed at the start but there was actually very little snow depth near the lake which made them a little impractical but we all left ours on. With temps slightly above freezing, the snow was just a little wet but not too bad. We were trail breaking but it was very easy. We noted otter tracks/dragging things in the snow! Gaia had us at 1.6mi, 160ft of gain, 1hr with plenty of stops to take in the views on the lake.
