The pulloff on NH 25A had not been plowed since the last storm but was plowed before that. No issues with parking. |

There are some open spots but everything, including the main crossing of Brackett Brook, still had good snow bridges. |

Mt. Cube Trail had no blowdowns but blazes could be refreshed. North Peak Side Trail had one small stepover blowdown. |

When snow conditions are good, like they were today on Mt. Cube, solo trail breaking can be quite fun, even if it is strenuous. ;)
I broke out both of these trails and they looked like they hadn't seen any traffic in a while. Any previous snowshoe tracks were completely filled in. Tomorrow's storm is going to reset things so my efforts today will be undone.
There is a LOT of snow on the mountain right now and it's only going to get deeper. Snowshoes are an absolute must going forward. |
