The road portion is packed hard snow from snowmobiles. Once you hit the hiking trail it is powder. We smoothed out the trail from a previous bare booter. The icy area was pretty much covered in snow. A few rocks poked through, 99% was snow. The top had some crusting over the powder. We broke out Barlow on the way down. With more snow coming it would be great if people could use snowshoes to make a nice trail for weeks to come. |
