Comments
Comments: Started out on Eastside on the classic skis, based on recommendation from Ranger Rob. That track was pretty chewed up and a solidified hard packed mess so turned back and crossed the bridge. Wilderness Trail not a whole heckuva lot better, but found some soft snow off to the edges and cut my own trail. Basically walking on my skis on the way out but a better cruise on the return. Only went as far as the Osseo Jct, then cut up there a ways for a coffee break. Had the place to myself for the hour or so I hung out.

Headed back to town and had a nice visit & chat w/Steve @ the Mtn Wanderer and bought a new book. All of this is moot (except the book) with the forecasted snow coming in...IF it does. I'll believe it when I see it. Hope we get enough new stuff to smooth out the roughness I traversed today.
