Comments
Comments: Wanted more open hardwood forest bushwhacking after visiting Jeffers Mtn from Blueberry the other day.

Chippewa Trail had signs of previous snowshoers but none so far that morning. All was covered and the two larger water crossings are bridged with wooden planks. Water running down the left side of Chippewa Trail just before the cellar hole was avoidable by stepping on the snow to the right.

This post was mostly to let others know that someone (thank you!) is plowing the Chippewa Trailhead. The water will probably be covered and all signs of my tracks gone after the incoming snow. Definitely still snowshoe season. For a more in-depth account of the bushwhack up Sugarloaf and over to The Hogsback check out the link below for photos and all. Enjoy!

Happy Climbing!
