A pristine snowshoe track up to Pierce. Not surprised to see that no one had been out to Eisenhower. Snow was deep but no match for our trusty Tubbs. Heading off Pierce toward Jackson we were again not surprised to see unbroken trail but not long after leaving Pierce a couple were coming up from Jackson. Two sets of shoes were better than none and it made the trip over to Jackson much easier. Probably the most beautiful snowshoe track I’ve ever seen from Jackson to 302. A magnificent day with a lot of snow. If you like to travel efficiently, you’ll want snowshoes in the immediate future. |
