Super job to yesterday's hikers setting a beautiful track. Basically perfect conditions until the final stretch, which is essentially an unconsolidated snow drift. Due to the large amount of snow last week, snowshoes should be considered essential gear for the time being (it is ideal snowshoe conditions!) This being said, there were a few cowboys barebooting along making a total mess. Go ahead and be a yahoo but not when it is obvious that there has been a TON of snow, I don't mean to be a gate keeper but common sense please and respect for those behind you. |
