 | Comments: |
Carter Ledge was partially packed by 2 hikers who stopped on the first ledge. My GF and I packed the rest of the trail in deep snow (between knee and hips) up to the sisters than to Piper Trail near the summit. We almost summited Chocorua at 4pm. Tired, really. Then we had to pack Piper Trail again to the ledges down on Piper where a group of hikers turned around. The loop is now all done but will be very smooth near the summit tomorrow with the wind blowing snow behind us. I'm glad we did but it was hard!! |
