Went up Hi-Cannon, to the top on Kinsman Ridge, and down on Lonesome Lake trail. Needed snowshoes going up Hi-Cannon, to the tower, and down Kinsman Ridge and Lonesome Lake to the lake. Didn't see anybody all the way up, and down to the lake, except at the tower, where some skiers walked over from the top of the lift. Three small groups made it to Lonesome Lake as I arrived there, coming up Lonesome Lake trail, all in spikes (except for one group in bare boots). From there, going down Lonesome Lake Trail, well-packed, micro-spikes were appropriate. |
