Comments
Comments: The trails have a nice track for snowshoes, which we wore car-to-car. Snowshoes, preferably with televators, are the way to go. The one person we saw without snowshoes was leaving shallow prints that were easily smoothed over on our descent. There is some drifting and loose snow up high but not bad. A fellow hiker had gone over to Flume and mentioned only some drifting near its summit. There was evidence of an older track toward Haystack on the FRT but it was almost entirely blown in.

Fun and surprisingly scenic hike with Chris. There were views over to Flume and up to the gendarmes on Lincoln with fog and snow concealing much of the valleys.
