Comments
Comments: The ATV trail is located approximately 0.75 miles down Eastside rd from the intersection with Rt 25. Word of note, the trail seems to start by walking up lower section of a driveway. Hiked up the ATV trail, which had seen recent snomo travel, great. But that stopped at the point where the trail started to climb (about 0.7 miles).

Followed the ATV road rest of the way to the summit. Once off the snomo tracks, the snow was quite deep (at least a foot or more), very sticky, and very heavy. Breaking trail was quite a workout; extra weight from the a lot of heavy snow sticking to snowshoes. It also seemed to clump on the front of snowshoes, like scooping snow with the front of snowshoes with every step. Register was easy to locate at the RHP to the North of the look out at the end of the ATV trail; it is in need of more paper / notebook.

Sun came out as we ascended providing blue skies and great views to the east towards Carr Mtn ridge, and more to the south towards Tenney, Carrigan, and others. Through trees towards the west, good glimpses of Cube, Smarts, Sentinel, Webster Slide, etc. Took longer than anticipated, so Currier will be an excursion for another day.

Overall the grades were quite gradual; so this must be a very pleasant walk if not trudging through feet of heavy sticky snow.
