Comments
Comments: Started at 0745 and the trail was a combination of snowshoes and post holes for first 0.5 miles. Then totally post holed to the summit. We (Elaine, Sarah and I) packed it down well, and another group of 2 came afterwards so the trail is good for the next few days! It is steep in some parts. The sun came out at summit for a while along with some wind. Decent views though. Definitely bring or wear snowshoes as there are drifts on ledges near top. Overall beautiful hike, and 25 feet down from summit ledge is a big log to eat lunch on without being exposed. There are steep sections but some portions gradual incline and flat through beautiful forests. I hope people get out there to experience this hike! Challenging at times but so worth it.
