Comments
Comments: We had a little of everything today. Warm on the lower part of the mountain and cool and windy up top. Good views from all the view spots. We used snowshoes for the climb and the trail is now broken out but the 8 to 10 inches of snow was compacting in the warm weather and snowshoes were difficult for the descent with all the exposed rocks. Snow was too slushy for spikes though if it freezes overnight they would be helpful. Because the ground was not frozen on the lower mountain much of the snow had turned to slush and there was boot sucking mud in places. Pretty hard to have dry feet today.

Congrats to Mona on number 48 and to the intrepid hound Raoul on #48. All in All a great day to be out.
