Ammo was well broken out and easy to follow. Snowshoes are a must as the trail is not hard packed. No ice at all until tree line. Powder, powder, powder! Above tree line is crusty snow/ice and you lose sight of previous tracks. We made it to the hut by relying on our gps due to very poor visibility. Visibility is the only reason we didn’t summit. |
