The trail is in great condition with just a few areas of drifted snow as you got closer to the summit. Once you’re near the top, the snow is pretty loose and a few inches deep. I chose to wear my snowshoes from start to finish as we started at 10 am in 40 degree temps were making snowballs on my spikes. Plus, I love my televators through the steady climb to the top. We had the summit to ourselves on this bluebird day! No wind and lots of sun it was nice enough to sit at the summit and enjoy our lunch. This is a great little hike and just what I needed today. |
