Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in great shape. The third bridge may have a broken board; looks like someone may have post holed through snow and possibly the board.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Cooper and Piper were the only doggos we saw on the trails, and they had a great time. Some open water for your pup, but bring some for the upper elevations.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a Black North Face Fleece glove getting covered in snow on the trail, placed it on a tree branch on side at eye level. Didn't see it on return, so hopefully owner found it.

Comments
Comments: Used spikes on the road walk to the trail head, where we switched to snow shoes that stayed on all the way back to our cars. Snow shoes are definitely the best option. Trail is still soft, and was getting churned up by the triplet we saw in spikes. Everyone else was in snow shoes, but more is needed to firm the trail. Snow was very soft and sticky due to higher temps today, and was balling on our snowshoes on the way up.

Also saw 3 on skiers taking GBT up followed by skiing down Carriage. Chatted with 2 in parking lot after, and they had a great time with a fast ski down.
