What a picture perfect day out there today!!! Wore snowshoes all day, even over the bony sections on the ridge, which was a little tricky and hard on the shoes. All trails were pretty well packed, but soft for the most part (snowshoe worthy), except the portion of Franconia Ridge Trail between Little Haystack and Liberty Springs Trail. Carried spikes but never felt the need to wear them. |
