Long Day out there enjoying the absolutely beautiful weather. I'll be brief. Zealand Rd is well packed. Zealand Trail to the hut was pretty well packed, but is probably going to get soft. Twinway has a good, SOFT trough laid down to Zealand and maybe a half mile past (SNOWSHOES are a must). From there 2 sets of snowshoes to Bondcliff Trail. Bondcliff trail has two sets of snow shoe tracks to the Guyot tent/shelter spur. Also, two sets of tracks out and back from W Bond. Three sets of tracks over Bond to about halfway between Bondcliff and LW trail. Then a nice trough. Again snowshoes until LW trail. LW from Bondcliff tr to wilderness boundary may soften up and could be tough - may want snowshoes.
Note: no tracks on Twinway from Bondcliff tr toward S Twin. |
