Very much like a previous report of a fast track, I’m only half fast. The entire way the track really is in great shape, after getting to N. Kinsman some very happy people came up and thanked me for flattening the track, they had bare boots, you’re welcome? Not that they were postholing but it does chew up a nice track. Between North and South the sun got hold of some of the trail and I had 40lb snowshoes. Also did Bald peak, nice views of what I had just done plus the bonus of the Moose, well worth the 2 tenths for the view. An amazing winter day for a hike. |
