 | Comments: |
Ammo Link and the section of Ammo Ravine Trail to the Gem Pool were both soft and moderately chewed up. Snowshoes went on at the bottom of Ammo Link and were worn to the bottom of Webster Jackson Trail. Ammo Ravine Trail in great shape up to the hut tho it does do a significant amount of wandering to the north/left in the low shrub heading up to the hut. Decent snowpack on Crawford Path, occasional bony patches from Franklin to Eisenhower Loop. Decent amounts of blue ice on the north sides of the Monroe and Eisenhower summit cones. Once on Webster Cliff Trail postholio and his friends from the luge team had badly mangled the trail and it was a long, slow tedious slog down to the hut and then over to Jackson. Jackson Branch and down Webster Jackson Trail were both in better shape but still had extremely soft edges |
