Trailhead parking is not plowed. There is sufficient room to park on Success Pond Rd. while still allowing traffic to pass. The road is plowed but is snow and ice covered. 4WD/AWD recommended. |

Success Trail and the AT were unbroken. It appeared that no-one had been there for some time. The snow on the ridge is perhaps 36" deep and since the AT is not maintained for winter travel, there was considerable stooping and crawling required to navigate the trail to the summit.
It was great to join my buddy Van for his winter 52WAV finish! |
