Comments
Comments: 7:20am start for a bushwhack loop. Skookumchuck Trail was frozen overnight from yesterdays sun & warm temp melting.
Choppy frozen 4" boot tracks, easily walked with snowshoes. Hopefully we get some snow tonight to flatten these trails back out and encourage folks to break snowshoes back out.

Only took the Skook for ~1.5-miles before bushwhacking through sometimes lovely open forest, sometimes tight spruce and fir.
Great day exploring new areas. Summit registers on both Big Bickford & Scarface were relatively easy to locate.
Great views despite the low clouds on Big Bickford, some open lookouts while descending Scarface.
Trekked west over Little Bickford on the way out and skirted around the boulders and spruce patch.

Anyone interested can find a brief write up and photos of today's adventure at the link below.. enjoy!

Happy Climbing!
