Parked at 7 Dwarfs. Broke out the trail to Haystack Rd in about 6" of fresh powder. Haystack Rd has seen snowmobile traffic and is packed down. Went up the usual logging road past the gravel pit and then forked up what is now a herd path (hard to tell under all that snow). Snow depth varies between 1 and 3 feet above that and gets deeper the higher you climb. Bailed at 2800'. Just not feeling it today, but there is a nice trough created by me and a friend out and back up to that point. Go get it. |
