 | Comments: |
Trail was broken out from Zealand Road to Zealand Hut. I wore snowshoes the whole day, but some wore spikes or barefooted to and from the hut. 4 of us broke trail past the hut to Zeacliff and Zealand summit sign. There was up to 2ft of snow in places. There were a few spruce traps we found along the way, so be careful. The snow is still soft and still in need of more compaction. The ladder was not an issue, for it was covered in snow. Nothing was broken out beyond the Zealand summit herd path. On the way out looked like Hale and the Sugarloafs were possibly broken out too. |
