Since this is such a popular trail, we were hoping for a broken out trail, but so such luck ???? we were breaking through a crusty 4-6 inches for the first half of hike and 12-18 inches in the second half
But with an additional 3 other groups of hikers we met on the way down the trail should be in good shape, so good that the last group was only wearing spikes, although in my humble opinion- a great snowshoe trail at the moment |
