 | Comments: |
The start of the trail seemed to be have mud and half snow so I left my snowshoes ninth car and started off bare booting it. After the brook crossing the trail was pretty much covered with snow with a few spots showing mud and rocks. At the first lookout I put on micro spikes and left them on until the trail coming down Dickey started to level out. The trail had plenty of snow with no ice making it very safe the entire way, but it was very choppy in spots. The snow was somewhat starting to stiffen up so I don't think wearing snowshoes would have packed it down. |
