Seemed like the new snow was gone judging by the roadside views, but alas there is still plenty of snow left from the Nor'easter once in the woods. Seems like Prospect did well with accumulation, despite Plymouth proper only getting a few inches.
Trail had been previously packed, but was getting soft with the recent mid-40s days. One barebooter earlier in the day had left a bunch of divots and a few postholes. I snowshoed roundtrip, as did someone else who came after, so the trail should be in decent shape in the morning for snowshoeing. Light rain started around 5:30. |
