Comments
Comments: With the snowbanks getting pushed back by bulldozers, I hoped the Overlook lot was plowed - it was and I was the only car in the lot from 8-11am.

Entered the woods immediately and hauled up to the top of the ridge and tracked right across the top over to the Mt Kancamagus high point toward the eastern side of the ridgeline. Down low was thick spruce/fir bushwhacking with some deep traps ~3000-3400', nearing the ridge top the conifers opened up and it was a more easy going, breaking through 8-14" of snow, much more on the final climb toward the summit of Kanc. Signed into the summit register and hit the other 3 high points (W/NW) on the return, didn't feel like meandering over to Kancamagus Nub so I just followed my initial tracks out.

There is some deep snow out there! :)

Per usual, for a more in-depth write up of the bushwhack with some color photography, hike on over to the link below.. Happy Climbing!
