Comments
Comments: Three Ponds Trail - no issues - easy snowshoeing due to snowmobile usage. Carr Mountain Trail looked lightly broken out down to major brook. After that, I could see that a couple people must have skinned/snowboarded the trail before the last couple storms - light trough so I got some feeling that there was a solid base. Conditions got worse the higher I got, of course. VERY deep snow but somewhat consolidated so I only really had to break the top 8" generally. Extremely tiring. A few times I broke through down to the small water crossings - 3-4' I would say.

About a mile from the summit, I lost the trail at the cliffy area - took a different way up and down - be very wary following the tracks I made. I would say it's still not really broken out because I couldn't really pack it down - it needs more traffic. Took FAR longer than anticipated but I made it out before dark but I was totally beat. Good views from summit!!!
