Plenty of hikers out for the day but on our trip we didn't see any, just full parking lots. We hiked from the north to south. Packed out for awhile on York Pond Trail then as hikers went towards Cabot we just had remnants of previous hikers and once we got to Killkenny Ridge Trail then no signs of previous hikers. Three of us packed out the 6.2 miles to Waumbek, plenty of blowdowns and hard to follow trail but now it is broken out for anyone looking to do the Weeks in the winter, with two days left of winter peak bagging! Definitely spruce traps. We didn't sink to far setting trail, 6 to 8 inches. Great day!
