Comments
Comments: Quick lunchtime jog; trails were just starting to soften up with the clear skies and warming temperatures. Snow in the shade was still firm, but the snow in the sun was softening. I wore light snowshoes roundtrip for the integrity of the packed trail and because it was the most efficient. Frozen postholes on the South Peak Spur solidified in place from inconsiderate people barebooting when temperatures were warm a few days ago.

Beautiful spring day, though spring was still a few hours away.
