Sunny day.Sun-exposed snow was more unstable below about 2000', generally much more stable above that. Well-packed trail, carried snowshoes even though microspikes were sufficient. Ladder section and area right before and after on Hi-Cannon was sketchy, having been filled in with snow that was becoming more unstable--crampons would have helped here. |
