Comments
Comments: This is the absolute best I have ever seen this trail. Smooth sailing all the way. I wore snowshoes, but spikes were all that was really needed and what everyone else was wearing. I just like my televators!!!

The surface was slightly loose, but traction was super good; no ice or terribly slippery regions. In the sections crossing the skier glade, the trail was sliding down the hill in the ski direction, but traction was so good that it worked. There is one section that was tracked slightly off the marked trail and that is where everyone is going for now. Slight drifting on the Rim Trail. Also, watch for skiers travel on all sections (even on the Rim Trail), plus some skiers are also taking the glade to the south of the trail and crossing in other locations.
