Comments
Comments: I followed the recommendation from yesterday's report and put on the snowshoes after the wilderness sign because the snow was getting sloppy and who doesn't like televators for the steep sections. I did the short and steep sidetrek down to the top of North slide, boy it looks even steeper covered in snow!I wouldn't want to slip there, it would be a long fall down!I left the snowshoes on across the ridge and peaks till I got back to North Tripyramid, then I put on the big boy crampons and managed to stay upright for the entire steep sections till I got back to the wilderness sign. From there it was exo spikes back to the road. Regular spikes would have been balling up like crazy as the snow was getting sticky in the 40 degree temps
