Trail couldn't be better. Great routes for the wacks .Packed trench the whole way. Bare booted till the Iso Express then spikes. I didn't even make divits it was so firm. I carried snowshoes and put them on at the Wilderness sign for the descent since it was getting warm and slippery. You can leave the shoes at the wilderness sign instead of lugging them all day and then put them on for your trip down. I am not fast but only took 6 hrs. because conditions were great |
