Hard packed snow first couple of miles. Trail was a little softer after that. About 2.5 mile mark, packed trail was not on actual trail but it will get you there. At about 4100 ft, trail was gone and snowshoes were needed. We decided to turn around instead of putting our snowshoes on. We followed the actual trail down - you'll see footprints in the snow. Great day to be out. |
