Parking on 302 parking lot 1/2 mile south of Zealand Road. Plenty spots. Lot plowed. |

Hop over crossing. Nothing else. |

No blowdowns. Great shape. Well marked. |

Dog friendly. Saw a couple on leash. Very well behaved. Some icy areas tough for canines. Trestle Trail is narrow on Brook. Doggy postholes. |

I snowshoed which was fine except at the ladder. Crampons would have been perfect for the whole trip. Micro spikes would probably be fine except not quite enough at the ladder. Ladder is very icy. I shoed up along the side and butt slide down (not recommended) at ladder. Otherwise trail was great. Snow was on the way but had not started before we finished. |
