Started at 8:00 AM and the trails were still solid with the 20 degree temps. Lots (and lots) of post holes. Trail was no longer visible about 1.5 miles from the peak and I had to use my GPS to get to the peak. Spring conditions emerged on my way down. Snow became soft and sticky. Put on my snowshoes about 1 mile in and kept them all the way till I returned to my car. |
