Comments
Comments: Snowshoes were a good choice. Actually, in many places, trail track was too narrow for my relatively narrow MSR's so I just walked parallel to trail much of the way. Generally, far easier to make your own trail then to try to follow the trench. The snow was well-crusted underneath - could have walked anywhere and I did, loosely following the trail. Later some barebooters came along - no worries about them wrecking the trail because I didn't leave a trail for them to wreck. :)
