Who says it's impossible to hike the Long Trail in a day? No, not the 272-mile route in Vermont. This Long Trail is in Pelham, NH, and is only 2.2 mi. one-way. For part of the return trip, I hiked an alternate route via Pheobe Rock Loop, which visits some attractive ponds.
Totally bare ground here and I'm loving it!
Trail maps are available on the Town of Pelham website. |
