Comments
Comments: A few bare spots starting to appear on Black Pond Trail. The bushwhack path goes a bit high of the high path right at the start, then meanders a bit before joining the traditional route (no tracks to the lower route today). We switch to snowshoes on LBT and kept them on back to Black Pond, they are certainly the right choice especially as the day warms.

There were no issues with ice on Brutus' steep section along the drainage, but this could very well be icy with frequent freeze / thaws. The winds were gusting good most of the morning but didn't feel too bad once the clouds cleared. On the return the snow getting slushy, as it should being a sunny April day. If heading out tomorrow morning I'd expect lots of frozen divots on Lincoln Woods.

We crossed paths with about 15 others doing OH today and most were familiar faces. Lots of good trail conversations had today.
