Parked outside Lafayette Campground. Squeezed in next to a van that was taking up 3 spots parking sideways instead of nose in at 10 am. |

Toasty did great except she didn't like the skinny bridge on the back side of the lake and had to make her own way across the stream. Met 3 other friendly four leggers. |

Not a cloud in the deep blue sky all day. Terrific sunshine. Nice granular sidewalk trail. As always, awed by the view of the Franconia Ridge from the hut side of the lake. Easy hike today. Kestrel T=24, W=28, WC=0 |
