Grey but warm day--did most of the loop in 2 t-shirts. Wet because of melting snow, which was fast becoming insignificant. Water on trails was not an issue, except that upper, steeper areas of wet rock often covered with snow/soft ice and wet leaves which made for slippery footing. Several of our group, as well as others, were ok with microspikes, other ok with bareboots.
Despite grey day, always good to be out (rather than the Black Friday madness!). |
