Comments
Comments: Zig-zagged and looped my way around my remaining trails in this area. I got tiny little bits of hard packed trail to enjoy, but for the most part, it was tough going through unpacked spring snow. It seemed some sections hadn't seen any traffic all winter. A moose without snowshoes made quite a posthole mess of some trails in the Cliffway area which provided some added challenge. This was surprisingly my first time coming across moose postholes. Despite the slogging in snowshoes, it was a nice blue-sky day and the wind over here was mild. Along the Brink is ridiculous with snow drifts (and probably even without?), but I gathered the courage to do it. All in all.. glad I got out. Feeling really antsy for non-snow hiking so I can finish up my last hikes of this 5-year endeavor!
