Plenty of parking on 25-A. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Spring Snow |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
What I assume to be the Brackett Brook crossing approximately 2 miles in had no snow bridges left and was flowing quite swiftly. One could certainly get across, but not without soaking their feet. My friend and I, along with 3 other hikers opted to turn around. |

 | Comments: |
We carried snowshoes but didn't need to utilize them. Walking in center of trail kept us on top. However, no doubt, over the next few days the trail will continue to soften and snowshoes will probably be your best bet, if you decide to tackle the water crossing. |
