Comments
Comments: The ledges and scrambles are either running water from snowmelt or remain coated in ice. Was hard to get traction on some of the steeper angles ledges due to water and pine needles. The snow is deep and getting softer at the top of Dickey. It was firm enough for me to walk in trail crampons, but it was full of icy post holes. The trail up Welch is intermittently icy, while most of the trail in the trees going down Dickey was icy until maybe the last mile.
