Lambert Ridge Trail/AT was solid and crusty due to below freezing temps last night/this morning. Ended up bare booting all the way up! Do NOT bother with Ranger Trail in the spring, its basically a stream half covered with soft snow, so the way down was a mess. Weather and tower at the top was wonderful today! Will probably need snow shoes on AT due to softening snow after tomorrow. |
