There is a network of snowmobile trails in this area that I used to reach the summit. Just before the summit is a cleared view, giant cairn, and an old interpretive sign. The high point is further along, just off-trail, and is marked by a small cairn.
Sticking with the snomo trails, I descended south then looped around the east side of the hill. These trails are depicted on Gaia. I noted posted land on the sides of the trails, but there were no prohibitions on the trails themselves. Foot travel seems to be ok, and as I returned to Mason Rd., a group of three were heading up. |
