Barebooted the road in the morning. Trail crampons to 2200'. From there to the summit and back to the trailhead, snowshoes. Many thanks to Teal Goat for his trip report yesterday. Snowshoes are an absolute must-have going up and coming down. The surface was fairly solid going up, but soft and very slushy coming down. |
