Comments
Comments: I was pleasantly surprised with the trails, wore K10's car to car. Carried and fully expected to wear my snowshoes as the day warmed up, but conditions just didnt warrant them. The monorail is farly solid but the footbed is choppy and boot ridden, it would be hard to accomadate the width of snowshoes, even the spur had a decent rail. A decent amount of bare woods in the flats, the eastern exposure melts things fast. South baldface seem to still have good cover on its entire cone for those looking at that summit. I suspect it would still go fairly easy in the warmth of the sun. #28 today for our round 2 of the 52wav list, we are officially back on the list after hiking our lakes region haunts last two months.
